How to request:

Please indicate whether you are Standard or Emerging category. An introduction and letter of intent is required for all application requests. All submissions must be in submitted in the following respective formats: Plain text for text documentation and PDF for images.

All documentation must be within 6 month validity. Deadline for press requests is November 1st, 2008.

Please note, we not have an "industry pass" program at this time. Our press program is intended for the press industry only. Other non-press based organization such as events organizations, and social clubs are not eligible. Cosplay Oneesan will examine each request on a case by case basis.

Which level of press access is appropriate for me? What are the requirements?

 

Emerging press - Designed for amateur bloggers and e-zines.

• Ability to participate in a moderated press conference.
• Limited photography privileges during the event from designated press areas.

Requirements :

• Proof of existing readership of no less than 100 active and subscribed readers within the last 6 months.
• Must be relevant industry such as fashion, lifestyle, or culture.
• Blogs / E-Medium publications that are not paid subscription based.
• If you have covered our previous events, please include it in your request.
• Must be exclusively a reporting blog or electronic medium based publication.

Standard Press - For the professional.

• Periodic email updates.
• Early event notifications.
• Full photography, video and/or audio recording privileges during the event from designated press areas.
• Private moderated one-on-one interview with our guests.
• Event entrance access.

Requirements:

• Proof of business incorporation / registration with governmental body.
• Relevant industry reporting such as fashion, lifestyle, or culture.
• Must be one or more of the following business: Print, Freelance to a major publication, or Broadcast Media (TV, Radio).
• Employees from a qualifying employer must produce a current pay stub or voided company check dated no less within 1 month.
• If you have covered our previous events, please include it in your request.

Other Policies
Cosplay Oneesan reserves the right to revoke any badge at any time for any reason whatsoever. Examples of grounds for badge revocation are not limited to the following:

• Bothering a Guest of Honor.
• Requesting autographs or sketches outside the normal autograph sessions.
  
• Bringing non-press guests to interviews or special events.
  
• Unprofessional and/or inappropriate behavior.
  
• Violation of any policy set forth by Cosplay Oneesan.
