Vivcore Vivcore was founded with an aim of bringing beautiful street fashion and lolita clothing to the states, designed to fit and flatter our more Western shapes and sizes, as well as to one day open up the same opportunities for events and employment our fashionable sisters in Japan enjoy. Vivien Hoffpauir an English girl new to the states first set up shop back in 2002 selling Japanese style tsumami kanzashi and quickly expanded to include all kinds clothing and accessories with a Japanese street fashion flare. As she grew to miss her old home in the UK she started to be drawn to lolita style fashion for the links it had back to traditional and historical England and all the ancient estates and castles she grew up visiting. In 2004 Candy Violet was born from this frilly obsession and Vivcore was Split into 2 labels, Street fashion label Cute Salad, and fancy label Candy Violet. Mixing up the European Couture tradition of her English upbringing and the Hollywood glamor of her new home Designer Vivien Hoffpauir hopes to create something new in the world of frills. When Vivien isn't designing she's often updating her online webzines such as Fancy Girl and trying to spread the word about her new Quaintrelle fashion and lifestyle, and encouraging others to do the same through the various online communities she also maintains. She says "fashion is about showing the world who you are, and what your dreams are" and hopes to encourage and enable more people to enjoy that feeling.
